There’s something special about seeing your work appreciated close to home – and we’re buzzing with excitement to share some sweet local news. Our honey is now stocked at Pinks Parlour, Bognor Regis’ much-loved ice cream parlour, and they’ve gone one step further – creating a honey ice cream made using our very own Elmer Honey!

This partnership is a perfect match – a celebration of local flavour, family values, and simple joys. If you’ve ever tasted our honey, you’ll know we’re passionate about keeping things as natural as possible. And if you’ve ever been to Pinks, you’ll know how serious they are about quality and creativity.
Let us tell you more about this lovely local business, what they’ve created with our honey, and why we think it’s worth popping in for a scoop (or a few).
Who Are Pinks Parlour?
Pinks Parlour is a small, independent ice cream shop in the heart of Bognor Regis, just a short drive from our hives in Elmer. But calling it just an ice cream shop doesn’t quite do it justice.

Run by a passionate local team, Pinks Parlour has been making handcrafted gelato and sorbet since 2013. Everything is made on-site, in small batches, using top-quality ingredients. They’re known for being inventive, often dreaming up new and exciting flavours that go beyond your standard vanilla or chocolate.
More than that, Pinks is a real community hub. Families flock there in the summer; it’s a favourite with locals year-round, and the pink-themed décor adds a bit of fun to every visit. It’s got that proper seaside-town charm – a mix of nostalgia and fresh ideas.
They also offer an ice cream van service, often seen at weddings, parties, and local events. In other words, they’re exactly the sort of people we love to work with – down to earth, committed to quality, and firmly rooted in our community.
A Natural Collaboration
When Pinks did a shout-out on social media asking for a local honey producer, we were thrilled. It has always been our goal to keep our honey as local as possible. Our bees forage in the hedgerows, gardens, and wildflowers of the West Sussex coast – and we love that people from the same area can taste the results.
However, when they mentioned that they were also developing a honey-flavoured ice cream using our honey, we became even more excited.

We care deeply about how our honey is used. We don’t filter or pasteurise it; we let it speak for itself. When paired with simple, natural ingredients – like milk and cream – it really shines. The team at Pinks understood that right from the start.
Their honey ice cream is rich, smooth, and delicately sweet – neither too heavy nor too sugary. Just creamy, with a mellow floral note that lingers most nicely. It’s a brilliant way to enjoy our honey in a totally new form.
From Hive to Cone: How It’s Made
Pink’s honey ice cream is made using traditional gelato techniques – slow-churned and made with less air than regular ice cream, resulting in a dense, velvety texture.
They use our Elmer Honey as the star flavour. No artificial syrups, no added nonsense – just our natural, raw honey folded through their creamy base. The result is simple but striking. There’s a depth to the flavour you won’t find in mass-produced versions, and because it’s made in small batches, each batch varies slightly depending on the floral mix in our honey at the time. That’s part of the magic of raw, local honey – no two jars are ever exactly the same, and neither are the scoops.
The team at Pinks have really nailed the balance. The honey comes through beautifully, but it doesn’t overpower the flavour. It’s the sort of thing you might think you’ll only have a taste of, and suddenly you’ve eaten the whole tub.
Why Local Matters
We’re proud of this partnership for more than just the taste. It’s about what it stands for.
At The Elmer Honey Co., we’ve always believed in keeping things small, seasonal, and honest. Our bees don’t get trucked around the country, and we don’t add anything to our honey that doesn’t need to be there. Just hard-working bees and careful harvesting.
Pinks shares that mindset. They support local suppliers, they make everything by hand, and they’re always looking for ways to bring a bit of joy to the people who visit them.
When local businesses support one another, everyone benefits – the environment, the economy, and the people who live here. Every scoop of honey ice cream at Pinks tells a story of West Sussex: the bees, the flowers, the people behind the counter.
Where to Try It
You can find Pinks Parlour at:
18 Waterloo Square, Bognor Regis PO21 1SU
They’re open 7 days a week, and in summer, the place is always full of energy – kids with sandy feet, locals grabbing a treat, and couples on weekend strolls.
Alongside the honey ice cream, they offer a vast range of other flavours – everything from classic vanilla to outrageous creations like bubblegum, Biscoff, and even prosecco sorbet.
You can also buy our jars of honey directly from Pinks while you’re there. Whether you fancy trying the ice cream first and taking a jar home, or you’re already a fan and want to taste how it transforms into ice cream form, it’s a brilliant way to support two small local businesses in one visit.
Take a Piece of Elmer With You
For us, this partnership with Pinks Parlour is a proud moment. It shows how far we’ve come as a small family-run business. We started out bottling jars for neighbours and friends – and now, our honey is starring in handmade ice cream sold just a few miles away.
If you’re local or just passing through Bognor Regis, we highly recommend a visit to Pinks. You’ll be supporting two local businesses, treating yourself to something genuinely delicious, and maybe even discovering a new favourite flavour.
If you take a jar of honey home, don’t forget – it’s not just a spread for toast. Drizzle it over porridge, mix it into salad dressings, stir it through yoghurt, or – like the folks at Pinks – try it in a homemade dessert.
One Final Note
We’re genuinely grateful to the team at Pinks for believing in our honey and for treating it with such care. It’s easy to spot when people are passionate about what they do – and it shows in every cone they scoop.
We hope you’ll go and give it a try. And if you do, let us know what you think – we love hearing from you.
